You can walk into a Borough Office for help with child safety concerns and to find preventive services.
If you suspect that identifying information about you or your family has been released by the Administration for Children's Services in violation of the NYC Identifying Information Law (NYC Admin. Code § 23-1202), you can report such violations to the Agency Privacy Officer via at acsprivacyofficer@acs.nyc.gov or by mail to NYC Administration for Children's Services, Attention: Agency Privacy Officer, 150 William Street, 5th Floor, New York, NY 10038.
The Sabra Jackson Office of Advocacy provides information and responds to the concerns of parents, youth, foster parents, and others affected by the child welfare system, juvenile justice system, and other ACS services. We also answer questions from the general public.

ACS accepts service through email and in person. For email service, which is preferred, please scan and email legal papers to serveacs@acs.nyc.gov. Please note that subpoenas must be so-ordered. Receipt will be acknowledged via email. In person service may be conducted at 150 William Street, New York, NY 10038 until further notice.
Service of process on individuals should continue to proceed in a manner required by applicable law.
ACS can arrange by consent service of legal papers including subpoenas on ACS employees. To seek consent for service via email, please email serveacs@acs.nyc.gov. Upon receipt of your email, we will inquire of our employee and will advise whether the employee is accepting service via email. Otherwise, service of process on individuals should continue to proceed in a manner required by applicable law
