Military Request for Relief

This program provides relief from property tax lien sales, tax warrants, parking judgments, and the enforcement of Environmental Control Board judgments if you are any of the following:

An active service member serving full time duty in the U.S. Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, Coast Guard, or National Guard.
A reservist ordered to report for induction or military service.
A servicemember’s spouse, registered domestic partner, or dependent child.

To apply, please download and complete the application located on pages three and four of Finance Memorandum 25-1.

For your relief to be granted effective July 1, the beginning of the new property tax year, your application must be complete and post-marked by March 15. If March 15 falls on a weekend or holiday, the deadline is the next business day.
